Each session builds upon the previous one, ensuring new members acquire the necessary knowledge and practice before progressing to regular training.

Session 1: Welcome and Introduction (1 hour)

  • Topics:
    • Warm welcome and club overview
    • Introduction of instructors and staff
    • Tour of the training facility
    • Review of membership benefits and responsibilities
    • Q&A session
  • Activities:
    • Icebreaker games to promote interaction
    • Demonstration of fundamental judo principles and values
    • Distribution of welcome package with club information and resources

Session 2: Understanding the Rules and Policies (1 hour)

  • Topics:
    • Overview of club rules and dojo etiquette
    • Explanation of belt ranking system and progression guidelines
    • Communication protocols and expectations
    • Safety procedures and injury prevention
    • Code of conduct and respectful behavior
