Documentation and Operations Structure
This guide outlines the new structure for managing Yukizuna Judo Club's documentation and operational tasks using GitLab projects and groups.
Previously
A single project named "Organisation" served as the central hub for all club tasks, including documentation (handbook & playbook).
Current Structure
Projects
- Handbook: This project houses all markdown files related to the club handbook and playbook.
- Organisation: This project remains dedicated to managing operational tasks for the club (excluding documentation).
Groups
- People Group / Executive Committee: This group includes all members of the Executive Committee.
Member Access
The "people Group / Executive Committee" has been granted access to both "Handbook" and "Organisation" projects.
Benefits
- Improved Organization: Separating documentation and operational tasks provides a clearer structure and easier management.
- Enhanced Collaboration: The Executive Committee can access both documentation and operational tasks within their designated group.
- Version Control: GitLab ensures all documentation changes are tracked and version controlled.
- Accessing Documentation:
- Members of the Executive Committee can access the handbook and playbook through the "Handbook" project in GitLab.
Moving Forward
All future documentation updates should be made within the "Handbook" project.
The "Organisation" project remains dedicated to non-documentation related
